FROM THE D.C. BRAGGING FORUM:
1) Mr. Danny got a sweet scholarship and invitation to be in th ehonors program at a cool college in Maryland.
2) Babyoog was transformogasized from an Indigo country gal to a hip and funky 70's-style chick on Saturday at the Average White Band concert.
Q: What is funk? A: The highest form of music in the known universe.

Welcome, Baby Monkey. I'm not sure if you are being the good baby or the evil baby in your pic. You are looking a little perturbed.
I have my own mocha IV set up here at babyoog headquarters! Feel free to drop by anytime you are feeling a little testy...

Ultradave also likes grenouille, but he likes ratatouille too. Strawberry Napoleons from Le Madeleine are supah. Palabras en Español are so much easier to spell!

Bienvenue PetitPère! In English, when we say "père" we mean "poire." Why is that? My favorite French word is grenouille, although I'm also a fan of l'pneu. Ultradave likes the word "Napoleon," as in the tasty dessert.

FOR EVERYONE: The International Guitar Night (IGN) is a forum for presenting the world's most original guitar players/composers together in concert. Featuring solo performances and collaborations, every show highlights a diversity of cultural styles and techniques. The ultimate goal of the IGN is to awaken new audiences to the many possibilities of the guitar, as well as to foster a sustainable culture for original acoustic guitar music of all types. The Winter 2005 tour features Badi Assad, Peppino
D'Agostino, Brian Gore and Martin Taylor. Last year's tour has been released by Steve Vai's Favored Nations Records as "An Evening with International Guitar Night Live." The CD includes solo performances, duets and a finale quartet, performed by Pierre Bensusan, Brian Gore, Guinga and Andrew York.

A couple of ideas to push babyoog.com into the next generation: 1) provide an easy way for us to add pictures to our member pages. 2) Develop an emoticon system with all kinds of crazy little pictures and sounds; and 3) Require that all of the member babies change their diapers at least once a week.

It takes two to fight but only one to start a fight. And it takes only one to kill. So I don't disagree with Bush's goal of eliminating wackos who are planning to kill us here in DC or anywhere else in the world. But I don't understand his strategy, and I don't understand how a war can be won unless the goal is to liberate a people from a country (actually get them out) or take a country over. Bush should read a little history of our fiasco in Vietnam.

Moreover, UD, a 50 year old bureaucrat in a cubicle in Tyson's corner. Could it be UD has discovered why am a pacifist? Too bad a pacifist is such a difficult thing to be, with people killing each other left and right in this country and around the world. There are no easy answers.

Thought of the day: Somehow we think that we can take young people, put them in combat situations where people are being shot and where comrades are being killed, and expect them to display the moral clarity expected of a person sitting in a cubicle in an office park in Tysons Corner.

Luckly, both UD and SuperDave were very supportive and tend to have more confidence in me than I have in myself. It went well. Never as good as it sounds at home, but I know that performance gets easier with practice. ML, I will have to bring my guitar to COR sometime and "practice" on your fantabulous customers!

Ooh ooh! New feature! I added guestbooks to our individual pages. The guestbooks are good for responding to a blog or some other item on a particular member's page.
Also, non-members can sign the guestbooks, so it's cool for visitors too.
Continue to use the dialogue for general messages, shout outs, and public gauntlet throwing (ML's specialty!)
General site news: I broke apart the scribbles section. Scribbles is now only my writing. I created a new section, Brain Freeze, for other people's writing.

Just Jetted in from RCCO, were I was attending a state dinner for the Royal Family Of (well lets just say what a looker of a daughter!). Sorry for my absence, as some of my travels have put me in places that were hush, hush. As in if I tell you I will have to answer to the BIG GUY (Not UD!). Got al call from JA and I will be attending her Christmas Bash as well as AJ and JG’s, so December looks pretty snuggly warm (get the drift, not the snow drift) for footy PJ’s. I certainly did enjoy the lunch with Babyoog and UD on Saturday, I think the CD Idea is a great one, and look forward to helping any way I can. About that dinner?

Babyoog and I enjoyed a delicious meal at megalarry's restaurant today. Too bad Mega wasn't around today. Ultradave has a great idea that involves a special CD, the fight against breast cancer, and the fine National Chain of restaurants Mega is leading. Hey Mega, how's the wife? A big babyoog welcome to megalarry, (who proudly displays his affinity for cake right on his shirt), and a welcome back to bhop, who has been missing in action for a little while.
Looks like we have all kinds of babies up in this piece, and let's face it, we're all pretty darn sexy. I added this cool new dialogue feature so we could all chime in without having to click around to each other's pages, so post away!
Suggested topic: everybody pile on pigtails for not updating her page in about 40,000 years. We girls have to represent. There's getting to be too much testosterone around here.
For all you non-babies out there, not to worry. You can join too. Don't be intimidated by our good looks... We want to hear from you!
